Elected Official Counts

As many of you may know, we are circulating a petition to have a referendum question added to the November 5th election ballot in order to increase the number of elected supervisors in South Park Township from three to five.  

Jason Sobek has pulled data from https://munstats.pa.gov/public/ to compare South Park Township to our neighboring municipalities in terms of population, size and # of elected officials.  

South Park Township is the ONLY municipality in this list with only (3) elected officials representing residents.  10 of the 18 municipalities listed have a smaller population than South Park Township.

It is time we increase the number of supervisors in South Park in order to manage local affairs more efficiently and effectively represent all residents.
